Florida Historic State Capitol Building
We’re very proud to be part of our own Florida Historic State Capitol Building. Unfortunately, recent storms in the Tallahassee area resulted in some damage but our teams were ready for the call to help get it back to its original glory. This round of work was focused mostly on repairing the wooden windows, which is one of All Trade's specialties. The Florida State Capitol, located in Tallahassee, stands as a symbol of the state’s political heritage and history. Completed in 1845, the historic Capitol building showcases classic Greek Revival architecture, featuring a distinctive red-and-white striped awning and a grand central dome. It served as the seat of Florida’s government until 1977, when the new Capitol complex was inaugurated. The old Capitol now functions as a museum, meticulously preserved to reflect its 1902 appearance, offering visitors a glimpse into the state’s legislative past. The building’s exhibits and restored chambers provide a rich educational experience, celebrating Florida’s journey from a territory to a dynamic state. We look forward to seeing our work be a part of our state’s proud history.
